A Day in the Life of Thomas

Yo! My name is Thomas. I go to P.S.9 (a school in Manhattan [in New York City]). During the summer I go to Central Park after school. It’s only a few blocks away from P.S.9. There’s a playground that my friends and I go to. Also there’s a museum near our school called The Museum of Natural History. It has a great restaurant there. They have chocolate moose, pizza, dino fries, etc. There’s also one more landmark near my school. It’s The New York Historical Society.

I’m like many other kids when it comes to waking up; I need an alarm clock to get me up, otherwise I’ll sleep till 7:30.Then it’s off to school, unless it’s the weekend or the summer or we just have a day off.

During the summer I have a lot of playdates and watch a lot of T.V. I also play Nintendo.

My favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees. They’ve won the World Series 25 times. I’m not really into the other sports teams like the New York Giants, New York Rangers, etc.

My favorite foods are stuffed shells, lasagna, manicotti, and assorted cheeses. My favorite thing to drink is Snapple.
